In specializing in clothing from everything 650AD to the present I would have to say my favorite would have to be authentic renaissance clothing.
In creating authentic medieval clothing for those looking to dress as the town pirate to the Kingdom Queen each person comes with their own design in mind.
If you draw this could be something that would be helpful to me. Basically sit down and draw out your ideas..then scan it and lets talk.
If you can't draw then write down everything the best you can and then search Google or something like that and look for a photo that matches your dream clothing.
Clothing with these historical patterns, fabrics and sewing styles that we attempt to recreate that of the past are just that recreations from the information we have available to us.
